    On May

    Emery submitted a letter to the
    Board objecting to the granting of variance in this matter,
    accompanied by over 200 signatures.
    On May 11, 1981 the
    Illinois Environmental Protection Agency requested a hearing
    and cited the letter.
    The Board hereby orders that PCB 81—59
    he set for hearing.
    The Board notes that the City of Carmi was ordered by the
    Board on May 1, 1971 to amend its petition within 45 days to
    request or waive hearing.
    Such an amendment is no longer
    necessary due to the objections.
    The Board further notes
    that the City is responsible for furnishing the Board with
    the transcript of the hearing under Procedural
    Rule
    412.
