A draft of the proposed codified

rules was made available to the public.

Notice was provided

1981.

The

45 day

comment

period

has

now

expired.

The

Board

received

two

comments.

Illinois

Power

Company

asked

for

deletion

of

§303.501

concerning

Lake

Clinton

thermal

discharges.

The

corresponding

old

Rule

has

been

deleted

The

Illinois

State

Library

has

also

commented

concerning

matters

of

form.

The

Board

hereby

adopts

the

draft

with

changes

recommended

by

the

commenters

and

some

additional

changes

recommended

is

directed

to

prepare

a

text

for

filing

and

publication

in

the

Illinois

Register

pursuant

to

the

provisions

for

codification

without

substantive

change

The

notice

to

be

published

in

the

Illinois

Register

requires

only an outline of headings of new sections

and

a

conversion

table

old

and

codified

record
