ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J.
Anderson):
On June
1,
1981 the Village petitioned for variance from the
barium and gross alpha particle activity standards of Rule 304(C)
of Chapter
6:
Public Water Supplies.
On June 10,
the Agency
moved that these petitions be consolidated.
The motion is granted.
Both petitions fail to contain recent test results indicating
the degree of the Village’s violation of the standards from which
variance is sought.
Both also do not specifically request or
waive hearing, and are not supported by affidavits.
Rather than
dismissing the petitions pursuant to the Agency’s June 10 motions
in each case,
the Board grants
leave to amend.
If an amended
petition curing these deficiencies is not filed within 45 days of
the date of this Order,
this petition will be subject to dismissal.
IT
IS SO ORDERED.
I,
Christan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution
Control Board, hereby certify that the above Order was adopted
