It

is

the

Order

of the Illinois

Pollution Control

Board

that

Rule 203(g) (1) of Chapter

2:

Air Pollution Control Rules and

Regulations, be amended to add

the following

subsection,

Notwithstanding

suh~paragraphs(A)~(D)of Rule

203(g) (1), no

person

shall

cause

or allow

the

emission

of

particulate matter into the atmos~

phere from

existing coal~~fired

industrial

boilers

equipped

with

flue

gas

desuifurization

systems

to

exceed

0,25

pounds

of

particulate

matter

per

million

Btu

of

actual

heat input

in

any

one~-hour

period.

Nothing

in

this

rule shall be construed

to

prevent

compliance with applicable regulations

in Part

IX

of this Chapter.

On

September 21, 1981

the 45~daySecond

Notice period for

this rulemaking expired.

The

Joint

Committee

on

Administrative

Rules has not

filed

an

objection

to

this

rulemaking

and

has

indicated

that

it

does

not

intend

to

do

so.

Therefore,

pursuant

to Section 5
