    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by I.
    Goodman):
    Upon the motion for reconsideration of the Illinois
    Environmental Protection Agency (Agency) the Board hereby amends
    its Order of July
    10, 1981 to vacate conditions
    1 and
    2 of the
    Order.
    Condition
    1 shall read as follows:
    1.
    During the
    term
    of this variance Commonwealth Edison
    Company shall comply with the following thermal effluent standards:
    The water temperatures at representative locations in the Main River
    shall not exceed the following maximum limitations during more than
    4
    of the hours
    in 12—month periods ending with any month.
    Moreover,
    at no time shall the water temperatures at such locations exceed the
    following maximum limitations by more than 5°F,
    January and February, 60°F;March, 70°F;
    April, 77°F;May, 85°F;June,
    July, August,
    September,
    and October, 90°F;November, 76°F;
    and December, 70°F.
    Condition
    2 shall read as follows:
    2.
    Commonwealth Edison Company shall participate
    in any
    regulatory proceeding relating to the thermal standards in that
    portion of the Illinois River affected by its discharge from the
    Joliet Station during the term of this variance.
