On February 10,
1983 the Board proposed to adopt

Ill. Adm. Code 303.353 and 304.205.
These appeared at
7
Ill, Reg,
2270, February 25,
1983.
On April
21, 1983 the
Board sent the matter to second notice with no changes in
the proposed language.
The staff of the Joint Committee on
Administrative Rules recommended addition to Section 304.205
of a reference to Section 304.124.
On June
7,
1983 the
Joint Committee made no objection to the rulemaking, condi-
tioned on addition of the reference.
The Board will adopt
Sections
303.353 and 304.205 with the changes recommended.
The complete text follows, with the changes from the first
notice Order indicated by underlining.
This Order is supported by a Final Opinion adopted on
this same date.

Schoeiiberyer Creek; Unnamed Tributary
of Cahokia Canal
a)
This rule shall apply to:
1)
The final 1500 feet of Schoenberger Creek
starting immediately south of the Baltimore
and Ohio main tracks and running north to an
unnamed tributary of the Cahokia Canal; and
2)
The unnamed tributary from its confluence
with Schoenberger Creek as
it runs west and
northwest for a distance of 8000 feet to its
confluence with the Cahokia Canal.
b)
The standard of
35 Ill. Adm. Code 302.208 for the
parameter listed below does not apply to these
waters.
Instead,
the following level shall not be
exceeded:

Schoenberger Creek:
Groundwater Discharges
a)
This
rule shall apply to discharges from an exis-
ting facility owned by Pfizer
Corporation to
Schoenberger Creek immediately south of the
Baltimore and Ohio main tracks in T2N, R9~of
the
3rd P.M.,
St. Clair County.
b)
This rule shall apply only to discharges of ground-
water used as non—contact cooling water
in which
naturally
occurring background concentrations have
not been increased by industrial
or other human
use,
c)
Instead of the general effluent standards
set
forth in Section 304.124
for the listed para-
meters,
these discharges shall not exceed the
following limitations:
