ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
September 23,
1983
IN THE MATTER OF:
)
)
THE PETITION OF THE GALESBURG
)
R80—16
SANITARY DISTRICT TO AMEND
REGULATIONS
)
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J,D.
Dumelle):
This matter comes before the Board upon a September 16,
1983
motion for leave to file two copies of a report filed by the
Galesburg Sanitary District
(GSD) and a motion to extend comment
period
filed by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
(Agency).
GSD requests leave to file two copies of a report entitled
~‘ArtificialOxygenation of Cedar Creek” which is incorporated by
reference into GSD’s first notice comments.
‘~Becauseof the bulk
of the report,~GSD requests the Board to waive its usual requirement
that ten copies be filed,
That motion
is hereby granted.
On September 23,
1983 the Agency requested that the first
notice period be extended to November
1,
1983.
Given that GSD
presents new factual
information and requests substantial language
changes from the first notice proposal,
it
is appropriate that other
participants be given an opportunity to respond.
Therefore,
the
motion
is granted and the comment period is hereby extended to
November
1,
1983.
IT
IS SO ORDERED.
