    The draft was made available to the public for comments
    through September
    2,
    1983.
    On August 31,
    1983 the Illinois Environmental Protection
    Agency
    (Agency)
    asked that the Board extend the comment
    period to September 23.
    This would not provide sufficient
    time for consideration of the comments prior to the Board’s
    meeting on September 23,
    or sufficient time for any revision
    of the regulations prior to the October
    1 date for codifica-
    tion

    The Board will accept comments filed through September 19,
    1983,
    and will give comments received during the extended
    period as much consideration as
    is possible within the
    constraints of the deadline for codification.
    Participants
    are urged to send partial comments as soon as they are
    completed in order to give the Board as much time as possible.
