Proposals for rulemaking were filed by Citizens for a

Better

Environment

(CBE)

and the Illinois EPA

(IEPA) on January 25

and

26,

1984 respectively~ Both proposals address the subject matter

recently docketed

for

consideration in “R83-28, Definition of

Hazardous Liquid Waste~

To avoid duplication and unnecessary

delay,

the Board hereby orders that these proposals be consolidated

for joint consideration with the Board staff’s proposal

in this

proceeding.

The 200 signature requirement which would apply to

CBE’s proposal

is hereby waived since this proposal will be

considered in this established proceeding.

The merits of

all three proposals will be given full

consideration by the Board.

The Board Staff’s proposal will be

labeled Exhibit ~1. CBE~sproposal will be labeled Exhibit #2.

IEPA~sproposal will be labeled Exhibit

#3.
