ORDER OF THE BOARD (by N.J. Melas):
On May 18, 1999, respondent J.D. Plating Works, Inc. (J.D. Plating) filed a “Motion
for Extension of Time to File a Response to Motion for Summary Judgment” (motion) to
respond to complainant’s May 3, 1999 motion for summary judgment.
According to the motion, J.D. Plating recently presented a response to an outstanding
settlement offer from complainant. J.D. Plating asserts that it will not have to respond to the
motion for summary judgment if complainant accepts J.D. Plating’s response to the
    outstanding settlement offer.
J.D. Plating states that complainant does not object to the motion. The Board
accordingly grants the motion and extends the time for filing J.D. Plating’s response through
    June 21, 1999.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, hereby certify that
the above order was adopted on the 3rd day of June 1999 by a vote of 7-0.
    Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk
    Illinois Pollution Control Board
