INTERIM ORDER OF THE
BOARD (by
J. Anderson):
On May 11, 1984 Petitioner Outboard Marine Corporation filed
a Motion for Decision in this case requesting that the Board rule
on
this matter at the ‘earliest practicable date.’ Petitioner
urges a prcmpt
decision by the Board for various reasons.
The Board has received no response to this Motion. The
Board finds
that
it is unnecessary to rule on the issues of fact
alleged in this Motion. However, the Board reiterates its
recognition of a
‘policy
concern for expeditious decisions in
appeals of this
type.’ (See April 5, 1984 Board Order in this
proceeding.)
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Board
anticipates
a final decision will
be issued at the June 14, 1984
Board Meeting.
IT IS SO
ORDERED.
I, thristan L. Moffett, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution
Control Board, hereby certify that the above Interim Order was
