the following amendment to the New Source Performance Standards

(NSPS):

Pursuant to Section 9.1 of the Illinois Environmental

Protection Act,

the Board is required to adopt amendments

“in

substance

identical”

to

the

federal

new

source

performance

standard

amendments.

The

Board

will do so through incorporation

by

reference

of

the

federal

amendments

as

peremptory

rules.

The

Board will also update the Code of Federal Regulations citation

to the 1983 edition

(which includes all NSPS amendments prior

to July

1,

1983) and delete all references to amendments based

upon federal NSPS amendments adopted prior to July 1,

1983.

The Board hereby adopts
