ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by
J.
D. Dumelle):
This matter comes before the Board upon a March 21,
1985,
motion for modification filed on behalf of the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency (Agency).
No response was filed.
The Agency points out that the Board’s February 20, 1985,
Order
in this matter grants variance until June
1,
1985, yet
orders in condition
3 that
a thermal oxidation afterburner
be
installed by September
1, 1985,
and that no explanation for this
3—month gap
is given.
The explanation
is actually rather involved, beginning with
a typographical error
in Precision Coatings’ variance petition,
and ending with the Board’s failure
to make an intended
correction to condition 3.
The date
in that condition should
have been June
1,
1985, which was the expiration date requested
by Precision Coatings,
rather than September
1,
1985, and the
Board
orders that condition
3
of
its February 20, 1985, Order
is
hereby modified
to reflect that correction.
IT IS SO ORDERED
I, Dorothy M.
Gunn, Clerk of the
Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the above Order was adopted on
