INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J. D. Dumelle):
The Board has recently been informed that the Supreme Court
has denied review of the First District Appellate Court’s
decision in People v. Santa Fe Park Enterprises, 473 N.E.2d 452
(1984). Thus, the appellate court de~isionwhich found the
sporting noise exemption of Section 25 of the Illinois
Environmental Protection Act to be constitutional stands, and
this matter has been remanded to the Board. It, therefore,
appears that this matter should be dismissed. Unless a motion
requesting some other action is filed within 30 days of the date
of this Order, this matter will be subject to dismissal.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the above Order was adopted on
