ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by W.
J.
Nega):
On June
4,
1986,
the parties filed
a Joint Petition for an
Extension
of Time which requested that the Board issue an order
extending
for 90 days the automatic permit revocation and penalty
due date provisions contained in paragraphs
5 and
7 of the
Board’s February
26,
1986 Order.
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency)
received
a transfer application on May
29,
1986 for the
Respondent’s permits pertaining to the
17.6 acre solid waste
management site located on the north side of the City of Minonk
in Woodford County, Illinois.
The parties have indicated that
a
ninety day extension of the date after which the permits will be
revoked and the fines become payable will allow the Agency to
properly evaluate the prospective transferee’s ability to clean
up and operate the site in accordance with the requirements of
the Illinois Environmental Protection Act and the Board’s
February 26,
1986 Order.
The parties’
Joint Petition for an Extension of Time
is
hereby granted.
The Board hereby extends until September
2,
1986 the
automatic permit revocation and penalty due date provisions
contained in paragraphs
5 and
7 of
the Board’s
February 26,
1986
Order.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
