On December 31,

1986 the Village of Pawnee

(Village) filed a

motion for modification

of the Board’s Order

of October

9,

1986

granting the Village variance.

The variance was granted

for the

period March

1,

1987 through July 31,

1987 to allow exceedances

of the BOD5 and TSS effluent limitations

for approximately 19

days while improvements are made

to

a lagoon.

The Village has

subsequently determined that replacement,

rather than repairs, of

certain aspects of its system

is warranted which requires

modifying the work schedule

to accommodate

a completion date of

September

30, 1987,

and allowing discharges at exceedance levels

for

60 rather than

19 days.

Petitioner represents that the

Illinois Environmental Protection Agency does not object

to the

grant of relief as requested

in the motion.

Accordingly, the Village’s motion for modification

is hereby

granted and Attachment A to the Board’s October

9, 1986 Order

is

hereby replaced

by Exhibit A to the Roth Affidavit contained

in

the December

31, 1986 motion.
