ORDER OF THE BOARD (by B. Forcade):
On September 11, 1986, the Village of Villa Park filed a
Petition for Variance, seeking relief from regulations on
restricted status and standards for permit issuance as those
regulations pertain to limitations on combined Radium 226 and
228. That petition is deficient in that it:
a) Fails to provide sufficient information
on the geographic location of the wells,
connections, storage devices and water
usage to allow the Board to determine
whether blending of various wells might
reduce contamination levels; and
b) Fails to provide sufficient information
on individual contamination levels for
each well, historical composite contami-
nation levels, or a verified statement
that no additional radium sampling and
analysis data exists.
Unless an amended petition is filed within 45 days curing
the above—noted defects, this matter will be subject to
dismissal.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certiry~at the above Order was adopted o,~
