ORDER OF THE BOARD

On September 26, 1986, the City of Elmhurst filed a Petition
for Variance seeking relief from Standards of Issuance for new
permits and from Restricted Status as they pertain to limitations
on combined Radium 226 and 228. That Petition is deficient in
that it fails to provide:
Sufficient information of the pumping rates on
the wells, blending capacities, and
distribution system to allow the Board to
determine whether blending could be used to
reduce the contamination levels, and
additional information on past levels of
radium sampling and analysis or a statement
that no additional data exists.
Unless an Amended Petition is filed within 45 days of the
date of this Order, curing the above—noted defects, this matter
will be subject to dismissal.
