ORDER OF THE BOARD (by C.A. Manning):

On June 14, 2002, the parties timely filed a joint notice to extend the 35-day period
within which the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority (Authority) may appeal a May 10, 2002
determination of the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Agency).
    See
    415 ILCS
5/40(a)(1) (2000); 35 Ill. Adm. Code 105.406. The Agency denied part of the Authority’s
request for reimbursement from the Underground Storage Tank Fund regarding a leaking
underground storage tank site associated with the Tri State Tollway in Alsip, Cook County.
The Board extends the appeal period until September 12, 2002, as the parties request.
    See
    415
ILCS 5/40(a)(1) (2000); 35 Ill. Adm. Code 105.406. If the Authority fails to file an appeal on
or before that date, the Board will dismiss this case and close the docket.

    IT IS SO ORDERED.

I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control Board, certify that the
Board adopted the above order on June 20, 2002, by a vote of 7-0.
