INTERIM ORDER OF THE BOARD

In

its Order

of February 19,

1987,

the Board announced

its

intention

to hold only one more hearing

in these consolidated

dockets, and thereafter

to provide

a

30 day public comment

period.

Due

to the difficulties

in coordinating the schedules of

the many major participants

in this proceeding,

it has not been

possible

to schedule this hearing for

a date other

than April

28,

1987.

The Board

is

in the process of reviewing this voluminous

record, with the intention of commencing deliberations on May 28,

1987.

In order

to adhere

to this timetable,

the Board hereby

revises its previous schedule

for submittal of public comments

concerning this phase of the

proceeding:

all comments concerning

and

C filed

on or

before May 20,

1987 will be

considered by the Board

in development of the Board’s proposal.

Given that the participants are being given some eleven weeks

notice of this nine day abbreviation of the comment period, the

Board believes that any inconvenience caused thereby should be

minimal.
