)
PCB 87—128
ILLINOIS ENVIRONNIENTAL
PROTECTION AGENCY,
Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by B. F’orcade):
On August 14, 1987, the City of East Moline filed a Petition
for Variance, seeking relief from regulations on restricted
status and standards for permit issuance as those regulations
pertain to limitations on trihalornethane. That petition is
deficient in that it fails to provide:
A detailed description of the proposed equip-
ment or proposed method of control to be
undertaken to achieve full compliance with the
Act and regulations, including a time schedule
for the implementation of all phases of the
control program from initiation of design to
program completion and the estimated costs
involved for each phase and the total cost to
achieve compliance.
Unless an amended petition is filed within 45 days of the
date of this Order, curing the above—noted defect, this matter
will be subject to dismissal.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gurin, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the above Order was adopted on
