VILLAGE OF HINCKLEY,
Petitioner,
v.
)
PCB 87—140
ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION AGENC’1,
Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by
3.
Anderson):
This variance petition, filed September 24, 1987, is
deficient in that it is unclear exactly what relief the Village
needs and is seeking. The petition seeks relief from the gross
alpha particle activity standard. However, the data presented
indicates excursions from the combined radium standard,.
If an amended petition clarifying whether the Village seeks
a variance from the gross alpha standard, the radium standard, or
both standards, is not filed within 45 days of the date of this
Order, this petition will be subject to dismissal.
IT
IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the above Order was adopted on
