ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD

IN THE MATTER OF:
PROPOSED SITE—SPECIFIC
)
R87—12
PARTICULATE
LIMITATIONS
FOR SCHROCK’S SAWDUST
FIRED BOILERS IN ARTHUR,
ILLINOIS
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J. Marlin):
This matter comes before
the Board
on a Motion for An
Expedited Decision filed by Schrock/Division of White
Consolidated Industries
(Schrock)
on January 15,
1987.
Essentially, Schrock
is requesting that the Board decide this
matter as soon as possible.
Schrock claims that such
a decision
is needed
in order to allow Schrock enough time
to install
a
scrubber
if the requested site—specific relief
is denied.
In
PCB 86—205,
the Board granted Schrock a one—year variance which
will expire on October
1,
1988.
The Board appreciates Schrock’s desire for
an immediate
decision.
The Board grants
the motion and will decide
this
matter
as expeditiously as possible consistent with
the Board’s
need to
address other pressing matters.
IT
IS SO ORDERED.
I,
Dorothy M.
Gunn, Clerk
of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the abQve Opinion and Order was
