ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
September 4, 1987
AMEROCK CORPORATION,
Petitioner,
v.
)
PCB 87—131
ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION AGENCY,
Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD (by B. Forcade):
On August 24, 1987, the Amerock Corporation filed a petition
for variance extension, seeking to extend its existing variance
from the effluent limitations at 35 Ill. Adm. Code 304.124 for
hexavalent chromium, total chromium, copper, cyanide, zinc and
total suspended solids. That petition is deficient in that it
fails to provide:
A plan to achieve full compliance with the
Illinois Environmental Protection Act and
Board regulations in the event the site—
specific regulatory request is denied.
Unless an amended petition is filed within 45 days of the
date of this Order, curing the above—noted defect, this matter
will be subject to dismissal.
IT IS SO ORDERED
