ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J.D. Dumelle):
This matter comes before the Board upon receipt of
Petitioner’s June
22,
1988, Agreed Motion To Modify Previous
Board Order, filed by King—Seeley Thermos Co.
The Motion notes that in its prior
Order
of February 4,
1988,
this Board granted King—Seeley Thermos Co.
a variance from
the air emission limitations set forth at 35
Ill.
Adm. Code
215.204(j)(4) until June
30,
1988.
The Motion states that during
the period of the variance Petitioner has acted
in accordance
with its compliance plan and proceeded diligently to construct
new painting facilities which will allow the Freeport plant to
reduce
its VOC emissions below the required limit.
However,
delay of equipment deliveries and labor
difficulties beyond King—Seeley’s control have necessitated a
need for extension of the original variance for an additional
45
days.
King—Seeley Thermos Company is granted an extension for 45
days
of this Board’s final deadline for compliance with the VOC
emission limitations set forth at
35
Ill.
Adm. Code
215.204(j)(4).
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I, Dorothy M.
Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois
Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify that the above Order was adopted on
