This matter comes before the Board on a Petition for

Variance filed by Turnberry Utilities, Inc. (Turnberry) on

May

16, 1988.

On May 11, 1988, McIntosh, Ltd, filed an Amended Petition

which joined Turnberry as a Respondent in PCB 88—8L That

proceeding involves a variance request concerning the same

fluoride standard involved in this matter. Since both this

matter and PCB 88—81 are variances which deal with the same

issue, the Board is inclined to consolidate these two dockets.

Turnberry and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency

are instructed to file statements, by May 31, 1988, which address

the issue of whether it would be appropriate for the Board to

consolidate this proceeding with PCB 88—81. A similar Order in

PCB 88—81 has also been issued.
