VILLAGE OF ELBURN,
Petitioner,

ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL

PROTECTION AGENCY,

Respondent.
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J. Theodore Meyer):
This matter
is before
the Board on a May 26,
1988 motion
filed by petitioner Village of Elburn.
The motion seeks
reconsideration
of this Board’s April
21,
1988 Opinion and Order
granting Elburn
a nine month variance.
Elburn also seeks an
extension
of the time
to file
its certificate of acceptance of
the nine month variance, since that
45 day period will expire on
June
6,
1988.
The time period for
a response
to the motion by
the Illinois Environmental Agency
(Agency) has not yet expired,
and the Board will not today consider the merits of Elburn’s
motion for reconsideration.
However,
since the time to accept
the nine month variance
is scheduled
to expire during the
pendency of that motion,
the Board will extend by
30 days the
time
to file
a certificate
of acceptance
of the variance
previously granted by this Board.
Thus,
the time period
to file
the certificate of acceptance will expire on July
6,
1988.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I,
Dorothy
M.

of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby certify
