This matter comes before the Board upon

 1989 motion
filed by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (“Agency”)
for
 an extension of time
 to file
 its recommendation
 to
 30 days
prior
 to hearing but
 in
 rio
event later
 than May 31,
 1989.
The Agency states
 that
 it has some
 information inquiries
that will require some
 time
 to resolve.
 The Agency further
states its belief that
 “communication at this time between
Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company
 (“3M”)
 and the Agency
will facilitate an informed and expedited hearing process.”
 The
Board notes that although no hearing has been scheduled
 in this
matter,
 3M has filed
 with the Board
 a waiver
 of the decision date
until September
 1,
 1989.
The Agency’s motion
 is hereby granted.
 The Agency shall
file its recommendation by May 31,
 1989.
