ILLINOIS POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
    March 22, 1990
    IN THE MATTER OF:
    UIC Update
    )
    R905
    (7—1—89 through 12-31-89)
    )
    (Identical in Substance Rules)
    ORDER OF THE BOARD (by J. Anderson):
    This matter is before the Board on the Boardts own motion.
    There being no U.S. Environmental Protection Agency amendments to
    the corresponding federal Underground Injection Control rules
    during the present update period that the Board must adopt in
    this docket, the Board hereby dismisses this proceeding.
    In the prior docket, R89-ll, the Board proposed amendments
    to its UIC rules on January 25, 1990 to correspond with federal
    amendments occurring up through November 30, 1989. The Notice of
    Proposed Amendments appeared March 2, 1990, at 14 Ill. Reg. 3006
    (Part 720) and 3014 (Part 730), and March 16, 1990, at 14 Ill.
    Reg. 3823 (Part 738). Among those proposed amendments are some
    based on three federal amendments occurring during the nominal
    update period of the present docket:
    54 Fed. Reg. 34171
    August 18, 1989
    54 Fed. Reg. 35328
    August 25, 1989
    54 Fed. Reg. 47451
    November 14, 1989
    This was because the earliest amendment in that docket was June
    14, 1989, and because the three later amendments further amended
    the two June 1989 amendments included in that docket.
    This effectively reduced the time of interest for the
    present docket to December 1 through 31, 1989. There were no
    amendments to the corresponding federal rules during this time.
    Therefore, the Board dismisses this docket without proposing
    amendments to its UIC rules.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
    I, Dorothy N. Gunn, Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
    Board, do hereby certify that the above Order was adopted on the
