ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J. Theodore Meyer):
This matter
is
before the Board
on
a motion
for
expedited
determination, filed by petitioner State Oil Company on January 30,
1991.
State Oil asks that the Board expedite its decision in this
case,
because the State Fire Marshal has asked that the gasoline
storage tanks which are the subject of this proceeding be removed
from the property.
State
Oil
states that
it
is
“reluctant to
finally
abandon
those
tanks
prior
to
a
determination
of
petitioner’s right to install replacement tanks on the property.”
The motion is granted.
The Board will act on this case as soon as
possible, consistent with the Board’s workload and resources.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I,
Dorothy M.
Gunn,
Clerk
of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board, hereby cert
