the People of the State of Illinois
(“People”),
by and through the Attorney General of the State of
Illinois, filed a complaint against J.
D. Plating Works,
(“Respondent”).
Attached to said complaint was
a “Certificate of
Service”, stating that the Assistant Attorney General
in the case

to be mailed,
this 25th day of May,
1990, the foregoing
Complaint and Notice
of Filing

Section 103.123
of the
Board’s procedural rules requires that proof
of service shall be
made
“by properly executed registered or certified mail
receipt.”
On October
25,
1990, the Board directed the People
to
file such proof to be
received by the Board no later than
November
6,
1990 or the Board would consider dismissing this
case
for want of
jurisdiction.
The People failed to
file such
proof.
Therefore,
the Board dismisses this action and directs
that
this docket
be closed.
