IN THE MATTER OF:
THE PETITION OF THE CITY
OF LaSALLE FOR EXCEPTION
 )
 PCB 86-2
TO THE COMBINED SEWER
 )
 (Combined Sewer
OVERFLOW REGULATIONS
 )
 Overflow)
ORDER OF THE BOARD
 (by J. Theodore Meyer):
This matter is before the Board on the Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency’s
 (Agency)
 motion for extension of
 time,
 filed
March
 27,
 1991.
The Agency seeks an extension of time,
 until May
31,
 1991,
 to
 file
 a response
 to the City
 of
 LaSalle’s
 amended
petition
 for exception.
 In
 support
 of
 its request,
 the Agency
states that the attorney originally assigned to
 this case
 is no
longer with
 the
 Agency,
 and that
 the
 manager
 of
 the
 Agency’s
Division of Water Pollution Control’s planning section has recently
moved to a different division.
A new manager, who will coordinate
the
 Agency’s
 position
 in
 this
 case,
 has
 not
 yet
 been
 named.
Finally, the Agency states that the attorney for LaSalle does ~ct
 object to the requested extension.
The
 Agency’s
 motion
 is
 granted.
 The
 Board
 would
ordinarily grant
 such a
 lengthy
 extension.
 However,
 given
personnel changes at the Agency,
 combined with the Boardts se
lack of hearing funds, the requested extension to May 31,
 1991
granted.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I,
 Dorothy N.
 Gunn,
Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
Board,
 hereby
 certify
 that
 the
 above
 Order
