    IN THE MATTER
    OF:

    (Rulemaking)
    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by J.C. Marlin):
Thi~matter is before the Board on the Halogenated Solvent
    Industry Alliance’s
    (HSIA) motion to reconsider the
classification of tetrachloroethylene and trichlorethylene as
    toxic air contaminants,
    filed December
    2,
    1991.
    On December
    5,
    1991,
the Illinois Chapter of the Sierra Club filed its response
    to HSIA’s Notion.
On December 9, the Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency filed a motion for extension of time to respond
    to HSIA’s motion.
The Board granted the Agency’s motion on
    December 19,
    1991.
    On December 16,
    1991,
    the Illinois Department
of Energy and Natural Resources filed its response to HSIA’s
    motion to reconsider.
    On December 20,
    1991 the Illinois
Environmental Protection Agency filed its response.
Rather than decide HSIA’s motion today,
    the Board believes
    it
a better practice to decide all substantive matters concerning
    this rulemaking at one time.
    Therefore, the Board will consider
    HSIA’s request when
it prepares its second notice opinion and
    order
    in this matter.
