    ORDER OF THE BOARD (by
    C.
    A. Manning):
    On June 15,
1993, the parties filed a status report pursuant
to the Board’s order of May 20,
    1993.
    The parties report that on
    December 11,
1992, they met to discuss a resolution of the issues
    underlying this closure appeal.
As a result of their meeting,
the parties have developed a conceptual agreement for resolution
of this matter and similar closure appeals at other Safety—Kleen
    facilities in Illinois.
    Safety-Kleen finalized its comments on
the form of the submittals the Agency would it to make to
document the implementation of the agreement reached between the
parties, and submitted those comments to the Agency.
    The Agency
has finalized its documents taking into consideration Safety—
    Kleen’s comments.
The parties note that to date,
    Safety—Kleen and the Agency
have been able to resolve four closure appeals using the
    documentation developed through these discussions.
    They state
that this appeal will be addressed within the next 30 days using
    the same form of documents.
Once these documents are issued by
the Agency, Safety-Kleen anticipates being able to voluntarily
    dismiss this appeal.
Safety-Kleen and the Agency agree to file
another status report within 45 days.
The parties are directed to file an updated status report on
    or before September 1,
    1993.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
