This matter is before the Board on a motion to file a status

report instanter filed on May 26,

1993 by the Illinois

Environmental Protection Agency

(Agency).

The motion is hereby

granted.

In its status report, the Agency states that Douglas

Furniture has a petition for adjusted standard

(AS 93—3)pending

before the Board.

This adjusted standard pertains to the coating

regulations contained in 35

Ill. Adm. Code Part 218 as applied to

Douglas Furniture.

The Agency also states that the adjusted

standard and the instant permit appeal have

coitunon facts and

issues and that Douglas Furniture filed the petition for adjusted

standard

in order to resolve the compliance issue that in part

gives

rise

to

this

appeal.

Finally,

the

Agency

requests

that

the

Board hold this matter in abeyance pending the resolution of the

petition for adjusted standard.

On May 20,

1993,

the Board issued an order granting a stay

in this matter until August

9,

1993, approximately 120 days

before the current decision deadline of December 17,

1993.

The

Agency

is

hereby

ordered

to file its

next

status

report

on

or

before

August

9,

1993.
