    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by R.C.

    On March 25,
    1993,
the Board ordered the parties to file
status reports to be received on or before May 21,
    1993.
    The
petitioner filed its status report on May 21,
    19931.
    Respondent
filed its status report on May 24,
    1993.
The parties state that respondent has now approved the work
plan for the column leach test which addresses alleged soil
contamination around certain of petitioner’s tanks,
    and will
    shortly issue an approval letter.
    The parties report that the
approval of the column leach test allows the parties to move
toward resolving the dispute over soil contamination at certain
    tanks.
Petitioner states that it remains hopeful that the matter
will be settled without the need for hearing.
The parties are ordered to provide written status reports to
be received by the Board no later than September 15, 1993.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
    Board Member B. Forcade abstained.
