On March
5,
1992,
City of Ottawa
(Ottawa)
filed a motion for
modification of the Board’s August
4,
1988 order.
Ottawa moves
the Board to modify the date for completion of phases
II and III
of its sewer separation program, contained in conditions
2(b) and
(C)
of the August
4,
1988 order.
The August
4,
1988 order
requires that phase
II be completed by February
1,
1993,
and
phase
III
be completed by September
1,
1993.
Ottawa requests a
nine-month extension of the date for phase II completion
(to
November
1,
1993),
and a three-month extension of the date for
phase III completion
(to December 1,
1993).
The motion lists
various reasons for the extension.,
including certain funding
difficulties.
On March 20,
1992, the Illinois Environmental Protection
Agency
(Agency)
filed its reply in support of the motion for
modification, stating that the extension is needed to “bring the
sewer
separation
project back onto a fixed schedule for grant
monitoring purposes”.
The Agency also joined in the motion for
modification, requesting the Board to grant the motion.
The motion for modification is hereby granted.
The
completion
dates listed in conditions 2(b) and
(C)
of the Board’s
August
4,
1988 order are extended to November
1,
1993 and
December
1,
1993,
respectively.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
