    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by J. Theodore Meyer):
    This matter
    comes
    before the Board
    on its own motion.
    The
    petition
    for adjusted
    standard was filed
    on June
    14,
    1991
    and
contained a statement that Elizabeth Street Foundry was waiving any
    hearings.
The petition was accepted at the Board’s June 20,
    1991
    meeting.
    The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency
    (Agency)
filed its response on July 17,
    1991.
    Petitioner filed its reply
to the Agency’s response on August 27,
    1991.
This petition requests relief from the Board’s air pollution
    regulations governing particulate matter emissions.
    This matter,
    therefore,
    could result
in a revision to the State Implementation
    Plan (SIP).
One of the federal requirements for approval of a SIP
revision is that a hearing be held on the matter.
    Therefore,
    the
Board sets this matter for hearing.
The hearing officer shall inform the Clerk of the Board of the
    time and
location of the hearing at least
    40 days in advance of
hearing so that public notice of hearing may be published.
    After
hearing, the hearing officer shall submit an exhibit list and all
actual exhibits to the Board within
    5 days of the hearing.
    Any
briefing schedule shall provide for final filings as expeditiously
    as possible.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
