On November 25 and 26,
1991, the Board held inquiry hearings
in this matter.
Upon receipt of the transcripts the Board opened
this matter for public comment.
Comments were received from
concerned citizens, organizations and industry.
The Board wishes
to extend its appreciation to those who participated at the
hearings and those who submitted comments.
On January 30,
1992, General Motors Corporation filed a
motion to incorporate material from a prior proceeding and a
motion to allow the appearance of out—of—state attorney, Laura N.
Tucker,
as counsel on behalf of General Motors.
The motion to
incorporate requested that selected relevant material from R83-7,
In the Matter of:
General Motors Corp.
Proposed Amendment to 35
Ill. Adm. Code 900.103 and 901.104 be incorporated into R91-25.
These motions are hereby granted.
The Agency has informally notified the Board that it is
unable to present a proposal to the Board at this time due to
limited resources available to the noise program.
Because there
is no proponent in this matter to carry it forward,
the Board
will close this docket.
Any person presenting
a noise proposal
to the Board should consider incorporating all or part of the
