DISMISSAL ORDER
ORDER OF THE BOARD
(by J. Anderson):
On July 11,
1986,
the Board ordered that inquiry hearings be
held to address whether it would be prudent to limit the level of
aluminum in drinking water supplies until further research can be
done on what the
relationship
is,
if
any,
between
aluminum and
Alzheirner’s Disease.
•A hearing was held on November 25,
1986.
There have been no
filings or further Board action in this proceeding since September
of 1987, except for some exhibits entered by the Hearing Officer in
February of 1989.
The Board has concluded
that
it would not
be
advisable
to
proceed further with this Docket.
The information
in the record
would need to be completely updated in order for the Board to even
deal with the merits of the issue.1
Accordingly,
this proceeding
is dismissed.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
I,
Dorothy N.
Gunn,
