ORDER OF THE BOARD

(by J.C. Marlin):

On June 17,

1992, the Illinois Chapter of the Sierra Club,

Coalition for Consumer’ Rights and Chicago Lung Association moved

the Board to schedule a hearing “to take testimony on this

proposed rule,

in

order that this rulemaking be completed

expeditiously”.

The Board notes that it has deferred action on this motion

pending actions by other entities.

These are

1) the

finalization of the Board’s budget for Fiscal Year 1993 by the

General Assembly ari the Governor, and

2)

action by the Joint

Legislative Commit~~eon Administrative Rules on the toxic air

contaminants list ~:oposed in Docket R90-l(A).

The motion to schedule hearing is granted.

Hearing will be

expeditiously scheduled consistent with the Board’s time and

resource contraints
