(by J.C.

On June 29,
1992, Douglas filed a status report as directed by

order
of

The Agency filed
a
separate
report
on

reports
that

and
the
Agency

to
be
engaged
in
meaningful
settlement
discussions
regarding
the
legal
and
technical
issues
regarding
this
permit
appeal
(metal
furniture
coating
line)
and
the
permit
appeal
now
pending
in
PCB

coating
line).
Douglas
states
that
numerous
teleconferences
have
been
conducted
between
the
parties
since
May
7,
1992.
The primary focus of negotiations have
related to the wood furniture coating line permit appeal as hearing
in
that
matter
was

12,
1992).
Data and information rela”-ing
to the instant metal
furniture permit application is currently being prepared and will

further
status
date
be
scheduled.
The
Agency’s
status
report
is
similar
to
that
of
Douglas,
and
also requests that hearing be deferred.
The

are
directed
to
