    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by J.C. Marlin):
    On April
    9,
    1992,
the Board entered an order directing that
hearing be scheduled on or before May 11 and completed on or before
    July
    15,
    1992
    or
    this
    matter
    would
    be
    subject
    to
    dismissal.
Hearing was scheduled for July 10,
    1992.
    On
    July
    7,
    1992,
    the
    parties
    filed
    a
    joint
    motion •for
    continuance.
    The motion states that:
    The parties have resolved the
    issues in the matter and
    have reached a settlement agreement.
    The expense to both
parties of conducting a hearing, including travel costs
    to Centralia,
    would be
    substantial.
    No member of the
public has requested to intervene in this matter or has
indicated any interest in the matter to either party or
    to the hearing officer.
The Board notes that the decision deadline
    in this case is
    currently October
    1,
    1992.
Continuance of the hearing absent an
additional waiver would prejudice the Board’s ability to deliberate
    this matter.
    The motion
    to
    continue
    is
    denied.
    However,
    the
hearing officer is authorized to continue the hearing to a date no
    later than October
    9,
    1992
in the event an appropriate waiver
    is
    received.
    If hearing
is not completed on or before October
    9,
1992, this matter will be subject to dismissal.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
