On December

4,

1992, the

School

District filed a status

report with the

Board. The status

report

indicates

the

Office of

the

State Fire Marshal (OSFM) has agreed to z.gister

four

underground

storage tanks (USTs)

located

but

continues to object to the registration

of fi~.Other tanks

that

were

previously

removed

•

On September

13,. 1992, the

Circuit

Court granted the

School

District’s Motion for

Sumsary

Judga.nt

and

directed OSFM to register

the

five

USTs. On November

23,

1992,

the

OSFM

filed

a Notice of Appeal to the Ai~pllate Court of

Illinois First ~Yudicial District and on November 24, 1992, the

filed a Motion to Stay Enforcement of

7edgnsnt Pending

Appeal.

A hearing on this motion was

scheduled

for December 14,

1992.

To assure that this matter before the Soard is handled as

expeditiously as posiible~ the

School

District is instructed to

inform

the Board promptly of

any changes in the c1aL~entstatus of

these proceedings. The School District is dit.ct.d to

continue

to submit quarterly status reports. The iixt status report is to

be filed with

the

Board on or before )tarch 1, 1993.
