    PROTECTION AGENCY,
    Respondent.
    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by B. Forcade):
This matter is before the Board on its own motion to correct
its prior order in this matter.
    On May
    5,
    1993,
    the Board
granted a motion for continuance of stay in this matter until
    April
    1,
    1994.
The Board notes that Riverside Laboratories has
    filed
a waiver of the decision deadline, extending the deadline
    until April
    1,
    1994.
The Board granted a continuance of the stay
    until the deadline in error.
    Staying this matter until the
    decision deadline would result
in the granting of the variance
petition because the Board would be unable to take final action
    prior to the decision deadline.
    (415 ILCS 5/38(a)
    (1992).)
    Therefore,
the Board modifies its order of May
    5,
    1993 to
change the date of the stay.
The Board grants a stay in this
    matter until December
    1,
    1993.
    This will allow sufficient time
for the parties to proceed and for the Board to take final action
    prior to the decision deadline.
    Riverside Laboratories may
petition the Board for an extension of the stay providing that an
appropriate waiver of the decision deadline is also filed.
The Board notes that it is also today entering a similar
order in Riverside Laboratories v. IEPA (PCB 90-164
    & PCB 91-161
    cons.)
The parties are directed to file an updated status report
    on or before October 29,
    1993.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
    I, Dorothy M. Gunn,
Clerk of the Illinois Pollution Control
    Board,
hereby certify that the above order was adopted on the
