ORDER OF THE BOARD

This matter is before the Board on a March 12,
1993, motion
for expedited hearing filed by the Village of Bellwood
(Beliwood).
No response was filed by the Illinois Environmental
Protection Agency.
In its motion, Beliwood states that the purpose of the
variance is to seek a construction permit for senior citizen
housing.

Bellwood also states that the contractor
is ready to begin roadway construction and without the
construction permit, construction of the roadway, water, and
sewer lines will be delayed.
Thus, delaying the entire project.

Additionally, Bellwood states that the village has
a great need for senior housing.

The Board grants Bellwood’s request for an expedited hearing
consistent with available resources, time constraints, and case
deadlines.
