1993, Olin and the Illinois Environmental

Protection Agency

(Agency) filed a joint status report in this

matter.

The parties report that they have been actively pursuing

settlement and that they have agreed in principle to coordinate

the closure of several units involved in this appeal.

The

parties also state that pursuant to settlement discussions, Olin

is preparing plans to submit to the Agency on or before May 15,

1993,

for extended closure/post—closure plans for some of the

units involved in this appeal.

Finally, the parties state that

if an agreement

is reached, Olin will move for a dismissal of

this appeal.

The parties are ordered to file a status report in this

matter on or before June

8,

1993,

in the event this appeal has

not been dismissed.
