Section 9.1(e)

of the Environmental Protection Act requires

the Board to adopt regulations that are

“identical

in substance”

with USEPA exemptions or deletion of exemptions published in policy

statements

on

the. control

of volatile organic compounds

in

the

Federal

Register.

The term

“identical

in

substance”

has been

defined in Section 7.2 of the Act.

Accordingly, the Board reserved

this docket for USEPA amendments during the period from January

1

through June 30,

1993.

No federal VON amendments occurred during

this update period.

For

the

foregoing

reason,

the

Board

hereby dismisses this

docket.
