On June 29,
1993, Reynolds Metals Company (Reynolds)
filed a
status
report
in
response
to
a
May
5,
1993 Board order.
Reynolds
states that on June 23,
1992, the United States Environmental
Protection Agency
(USEPA) published notice in the Federal
Register
staying
the
effectiveness
of 40 CFR 52.741(x) and
(y)
as
they apply to Reynolds in order for USEPA to reconsider the
applicability of the rules to Reynolds.
Reynolds adds that there has been no change in the status of
this matter since the date of the last status report.
However,
a
status
report
is
due
to
the
Seventh
Circuit
court
of
Appeals
on
July
2,
1993.
In such event,
Reynolds will supplement this
status
report.
Reynolds
is hereby ordered to file another status report.
The
report
must
be received by the Board no later than August
3,
1993.
