    ORDER OF THE BOARD
    (by R.C.
    Fleinal):
    On June
    3,
1993, the Board ordered the parties to file
status reports to be received on or before September 15,
    1993.
Respondent filed its status report on September 13,
    1993.
    No
status report was received from petitioner.
Respondent states that respondent has now provided
petitioner with a draft amended closure certification approval
letter that includes conditional approval of the soil column
    leaching test.
Earlier status reports indicated that approval of
the column leach test would allow the parties to move toward
resolving the dispute over soil contamination at certain tanks.
The respondent further states that it is awaiting petitioner’s
response to the draft amended closure certification approval
    letter.
Respondent believes that upon receipt of all necessary
approvals and issuance of documents, this matter will be ripe for
    dismissal.
The parties are ordered to provide written status reports to
be received by the Board no later than October 26,
    1993.
    The
    petitioner
is reminded that failure to timely comply with Board
    orders may subject
a party to sanctions pursuant to 35 Ill.
    Adm.
    Code 101.280.
    IT IS SO ORDERED.
